Craighall residents are encouraged to report damaged or fallen street lights

Local residents from Craighall and the surrounding areas are urged to be the ears and eyes of ward councillors by reporting faulty or broken street light poles.

Ward 90 councillor Martin Williams reported a broken and collapsed street light pole on 368 Jan Smuts Avenue to City Power.

City Power’s media officer, Lydia Mathobela-Nhlapo said, “The team has not responded with an official response. They are aware of the fallen and broken pole and have been doing repairs.”

Residents are urged to log queries to the relevant entities so that they can step in and escalate the matter if necessary.
